The Old Cottage is in an extremely tranquil, peaceful setting. It is over 200 years old; we renovated it ourselves in the traditional Irish style while keeping to a very high standard of comfort and quality. Quaint and cosy with white-washed walls, combining a traditional design with all the mod cons, the Old Cottage is the idyllic getaway at any time of the year. Snuggle up to a large fire in the winter or relax outdoors with a BBQ in the summer.
Sleeping 4/6, it has two main bedrooms (1 double en-suite, 1 twin beds) and a third bedroom in the open style gallery upstairs with twin beds. There is another shower/wc/hand basin.
The sitting room (with wood/turf burning open fire/stove) and kitchen are open plan. The kitchen is well equipped and includes electric cooker & halogen hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer etc. (Electricity and oil are on meters and are at cost prices).
The cottage has its own garden and patio area with table and chairs. All linens and towels are provided free.
